Achievement overview

ReStory: Chill Electronics Repairs ships with a complete set of 50 Steam achievements, and since the game is strictly single-player with no co-op or multiplayer modes, every unlock is earned through your own work behind the counter. The list tracks more than simple repair milestones; it also covers your shop's finances, customer reviews, marketplace habits, long-term play, and a handful of hidden conditions.

Most achievements progress naturally from the core loop of restoring nostalgic devices in your mid-2000s Tokyo shop. Others require deliberate planning, especially the ones tied to playtime, money, and grinding repeated actions.

  • Repair and restoration goals: first repairs, soldering parts, cleaning dirt and dust, reprogramming devices, and painting custom orders.
  • Business and economy goals: paying bills, buying licenses, earning large daily income, buying and selling marketplace devices, and purchasing shop upgrades.
  • Reputation goals: earning 5, 25, and 50 customer reviews for your work.
  • Long-term goals: reaching 30, 90, and 365 in-game days.
  • Hidden achievements: several descriptions are cryptic or even blank, so expect surprise unlocks tied to story beats or unusual player behavior.

Read the achievement list before your first play session and decide which long-term goals matter to you. Conditions like going 10 days without buying new parts or not ending the day for 7 days in a row are far easier to slot into a normal run if you plan for them from day one.

Tips for completionists

If you want the full 100%, treat this game as a long-term project. A relaxed playthrough can naturally reach the 365-day achievement, but you will need to balance spending, daily routines, and repeatable actions to catch everything along the way.

Plan for the grinds first

  • Cleaning parts: the game tracks 100 and then a massive 1,000 parts cleaned. Make cleaning part of every repair, even when the job does not strictly require it.
  • Email orders: completing 25 and then 100 email orders takes real time. Check your email every morning and accept orders whenever the shop schedule allows.
  • Stickers: apply a sticker to a device as soon as the option unlocks, then keep decorating to reach 25 and eventually 100 total sticker applications.
  • Reprogramming: hack or reprogram devices every chance you get, since the milestone sits at 25 devices.
  • Parts boxes: buying boxes of parts is required dozens of times, so factor those purchases into your budget instead of treating them as optional.

Watch your spending and your days

The Frugal achievement asks you to go 10 days in a row without buying any new parts, which conflicts with the parts box and marketplace achievements if you rush them. Try to finish the purchase-based achievements first, then run your frugal stretch while relying on stockpiled components. Similarly,Akiba never sleeps requires 7 days without ending your day, so set aside a session where you can keep the shop running through multiple in-game days in a row.

Money milestones

Earning more than 100,000 yen in a single day and then a lifetime total of 1,000,000 yen will come naturally in the later game, but you can speed both up by selling devices, taking high-value email orders, and buying licenses early. Licenses also feed into several separate progress achievements, so purchase them as soon as you can afford them and keep working toward acquiring all of them.

Competitions and hidden achievements

Device assembly competitions are tied to multiple achievements, including winning 3 different competitions and eventually winning at least one competition for each device type. Enter every competition you can, even if you are not sure you will win, because the experience pays off. Hidden achievements with vague or blank descriptions, including a hint about an "eye in the sky", are likely connected to story beats or specific customer interactions, so talk to everyone and help when you can, including doing free work for a child.

Do not panic about hidden achievements on your first playthrough. Focus on the repair loop, help every customer who walks in, and keep the workshop clean and decorated. If a secret unlock still refuses to appear later, a second save with different spending habits will usually catch whatever you missed the first time.
